A very special and top-quality watch strap, both for the quality of its workmanship and for the leather used.
For this, we used a highly prized vegetable-tanned leather from the Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo:
Badalassi Carlo has specialized in the production of vegetable-tanned leather for over 40 years and is part of the “Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather” consortium. One of its most famous leathers is called PUEBLO.
“Badalassi Pueblo” leather is probably the most famous item produced by the Badalassi Carlo tannery. It consists of vegetable-tanned, oiled double shoulders that are refined with a special machine to give a deliberately distressed appearance. The result is a special, burnishable leather that improves with time and use.
Vegetable tanning is an ancient craft that, both then and now, uses exclusively plant-based tannins. It requires time and craftsmanship to transform the raw material into a completely natural leather perfectly suited to all types of processing, combining technology and tradition.
Furthermore, items made with these leathers acquire a very special and beautiful patina with use and the passage of time.
It is available in special sizes for those vintage watches that were made with odd-sized straps, such as the 19mm or 21mm size. As with all our designs, it has a very flexible finish that makes it very comfortable to fasten and wear on your wrist.
The 17mm size is only available with regular lugs.
