In the region of Tuscany, between Florence and Pisa, it is the only place in Italy where high-quality vegetable-tanned leather, like the one used in this watch strap, is still produced.
Vegetable tanning is an ancient craft that, then and now, exclusively uses tannins of plant origin and requires time and artisanal work to transform the raw material into a completely natural leather that is perfectly adapted to all types of preparations, a union of technology and tradition.
Items made with these leathers gain a very special and precious patina with use and the passage of years.
You can also choose this watch strap with special sizes for those vintage watches that were manufactured with straps of odd sizes such as 19mm or 21mm.
